1. Are the campsites full hookup?

Yes, all sites are full hook-up (newly redone) including sewer, water and 30/50 amp electric service, with a provided picnic table and fire ring.

2. How big are the campsites?

Sites are approximately 40' W x 60' L. Each campsite is surfaced with packed gravel to the main campground roadways. Each Full Hook-Up site is designed to hold an RV, vehicle and recreational boat trailer.

Back

3. How many vehicles are allowed at a campsite?

We allow only one RV or camping unit per site, as well as one vehicle and a standard size pleasure boat. Extra space for additional vehicles and boats is available in the visitor's parking lot for the appropriate daily fee or by pre-arrangement.

4. Are tents allowed?

No, tents are not allowed. Board of Health Regulations prohibits tents and outside sleeping shelters at this campground. Additionally, sheds, and framed canopies are not allowed. Screened pop-ups over picnic tables are allowed, but nothing that resembles a sleeping area.

5. Are golf carts allowed?

Yes, golf carts are allowed. Of course, all electric or motorized vehicles must be legally registered and in safe operational condition. Operator(s) of a golf cart, an ATV or scooter must be a minimum of 16 years of age and have in their possession a valid driver's license. Operators must also obey the speed limit and not be under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substances. If you wish to leave the campground you need to purchase a $5.00 Temporary Pass from the Managers.

6. Are campfires permitted?

Yes, campfires are permitted, but they must be contained inside the metal fire rings provided on each site. Campfires must be kept knee high or below, and not left unattended.

Group bonfire rings are available to all registered campers, to meet the needs of larger social gatherings and campground programming. Some fees may apply.

DO NOT BURN Trash or Plastics in your campfires. The smell of burning trash is terribly offensive and potentially toxic to your neighbors.

Back

7. Is firewood available?

Firewood is available to purchase any time during the day when the Camp Host is on duty.

Back

8. Can I use the boat ramp?

Located at river mile 664.5, our private double wide boat ramp provides Ohio River access. All paying guests may have free use of the boat ramp during their stay. The public may also use the boat ramp for a daily or seasonal fee.

Back

9. Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed as long as the owners follow the rules about pets.

Back

10. Is there Internet access, Wi-Fi or phone service?

At this time there is NO internet service, NO Wi-Fi service, and phone service is "iffy" at best. This is due to being in a valley and has nothing to do with your carrier. You may get service, and someone else with the same phone and carrier may not.

Back

11. Where can I get a fishing license?

The Wal-Mart in Corydon sells fishing licenses.

In Leavenworth you can buy fishing licenses at Stephenson's General Store.

Back

12. Where can I rent a boat?

You can rent canoes, for trips on the Blue River, in nearby Milltown. To rent power boats you can go to Patoka Lake, which is about 30 minutes away.
